Houston tops nation in dogs biting mail delivery people; San Antonio 6th

Houston has earned the distinction of being the nation's leader in a dubious category. The Bayou City leads the United States in dog attacks on Postal Service letter carriers. Statistics released this afternoon by the U.S. Postal Service showed that 62 mail delivery people were attacked by dogs in Houston last year -- making the city a runaway winner over runners-up Columbus, Ohio, and San Diego, Calif., with 45 attacks each. San Antonio finished tied for sixth place with St. Louis, Mo.
